Quang Ninh has implemented mass mobilization work synchronously, extensively, practically, specifically, and towards the grassroots level, creating high consensus and unity among the people to carry out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks.
Closely following the tasks and objectives of Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW of the 7th Central Conference, 11th tenure "On strengthening and innovating the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work in the new situation", from the beginning of 2024 to present, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee have issued 23 documents (4 action programs, 3 plans, 7 official dispatches, 8 notices, 1 decision) specifying important resolutions, directives and conclusions related to mass mobilization work in conjunction with local practices to focus on leading and directing the political system to strengthen innovation, effectively and substantially implement mass mobilization work, creating unity and consensus among the people.
One of the key tasks that has been widely deployed since the beginning of the year is to continue promoting patriotic emulation campaigns and movements in all levels, sectors, organizations, unions, and enterprises, such as: All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; All people unite to build a cultural life; All people protect national security and order; build families with "5 no's, 3 clean"; light up rural roads; compete for good workers, creative workers, and outstanding advanced workers...
Typically, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Provincial Fatherland Front took the lead in implementing and mobilizing over 186 billion VND, organizing the presentation of 342,673 Tet gifts to the poor and people in difficult circumstances; propagating and mobilizing organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to support the construction of 77 houses and 35 hygienic toilets for poor households in the province. The Women's Union at all levels propagated and mobilized members to effectively maintain 2,383 models on environmental protection (nearly 40,000 members); 5 models of women's groups producing recycled products from plastic waste (151 members), worth 73 million VND; visiting and giving gifts to policy families, women's union members, poor children, orphans in difficult circumstances, 10,449 gifts, worth 3.6 billion VND. The Provincial Federation of Labor launched a movement to compete for excellent and creative workers, improve the quality and efficiency of work in agencies, units and enterprises; in the first 9 months of 2024, 3,746 initiatives, solutions and topics of union members of organizations, units and enterprises were recognized, with a total value of over 46.7 billion VND; awarded the "July 28 Award" and the title "Cultural standard agency, unit and enterprise" to 439 units.
Especially after storm No. 3 (Yagi), with the spirit of mutual love and support, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels of the province have urgently deployed mass mobilization, propaganda, and mobilized members to make efforts to overcome the damage; at the same time, mobilized and raised funds to support people who suffered losses of over 100 billion VND. This fund is being reviewed, reported, and allocated to localities by the Provincial Fatherland Front - Standing Committee of the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee, to support in accordance with regulations so that people can soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business activities.
The results achieved in the campaigns and emulation movements have contributed to the province achieving an economic growth rate of 8.02% in the third quarter of 2024 in the context that the whole province suffered a lot of damage due to storm No. 3, causing disruptions in the supply chain, production, business and affecting people's lives.
Comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said: The Party's mass mobilization work in the coming time will continue to be implemented in a practical and effective manner in conjunction with the tasks, functions and actual conditions of agencies, units and localities. The highest, consistent and continuous goal of mass mobilization work is to improve and enhance the quality of people's lives, gain people's trust in the Party, the State and local authorities at all levels, contributing to consolidating and building the Party and the political system to be increasingly clean and strong.
