“The Snow Queen and the Princess” revolves around the ice princess Ila, daughter of the Snow Queen who rules the Mirror Land. She is a mischievous girl who longs to explore the world, but is always strictly controlled by her mother because she is too young and has not yet developed her magical instincts.
One day, Ila accidentally meets three little elves. They are travelers from the other side of a magical portal. Ila decides to befriend them and reveal a secret to them in the Land of Mirrors.
In the frozen lake Gao, there is a mysterious seal that has trapped ice spirits for centuries. While skating on the lake Gao, Ila accidentally breaks the seal, allowing the ice spirits to escape and enter the peaceful human town through the magical gate.
To prevent the danger, the Snow Queen asked Ila to search for Kai and Gerda will start a new journey to save the whole world from global freezing.
In this adventure, the little princess will learn to overcome her childish desires, selfishness and fear to make up for the mistakes she has made. From there, it will bring to young audiences a colorful story with meaningful lessons in the character's journey to adulthood.
The film's trailer reveals many stunning graphic scenes, from the icy world with majestic snow castles, the majesty of lush green mountains, to the peacefulness of human towns... At the same time, the film clearly shows the combination of East - West elements, simulating both the beautiful world under the ocean or the pirate city on unique hot air balloons. From there, it helps the character's adventure journey become more magical, maximizing the imagination of viewers from the limitless fantasy strength of the animated film series.
“The Snow Queen and the Princess” is the fifth chapter of the hit animated series “The Now Queen” produced by the Russian studio Wizart Animation. The first part of the series was released in December 2012, based on the fairy tale book by the Danish author from 1844 and was later released in more than 150 countries.
