The contest is organized by the Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Liaison Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ben Tre Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Journalists Club in Ho Chi Minh City. Through this, it aims to contribute to the province in promoting and introducing the image of Ben Tre land and people along with its cultural identity, historical relics, natural landscapes, scenic spots, products, and typical tourist destinations...

Deployed from mid-January 2025 to mid-March 2025, the Organizing Committee received 755 photos from 97 authors and photographers from all over the country to participate in the contest. Through the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee evaluated online, selecting 105 works with high artistic value, serving the propaganda and promotion work for Ben Tre province to enter the final round.
The final round was held directly with the jury members being prestigious photographers such as: Artist Duy Bang - Member of the Executive Committee, Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) in charge of the Mekong Delta region, Artist Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the VAPA in charge of the Ho Chi Minh City, Artist Nguyen Van Thuong - Member of the Executive Committee, Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in charge of the Southeast region, Artist Nguyen Hai - Nguyen Dinh Chieu Literature and Arts Association, Ben Tre province and Artist Nguyen Thanh Luy - Head of the Gia Dinh Branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
The secretariat records the photo scoring results in the presence of the Organizing Committee and the authors.
Photographer Duy Bang - Head of the jury said: The final photo collection has many new angles, showing the bright spots of Ben Tre homeland on the path of development. The content of the works shows respect for the sacrifices of our ancestors, honoring the contributions of individuals and units over the past time who have joined hands to build a rich and beautiful Ben Tre province. Through artistic photos, the beauty of the Coconut land with destinations, historical and cultural sites, natural landscapes and the beauty of Ben Tre people in labor and production, expressing the appearance of a locality that is constantly changing in all aspects.
The jury will select 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes and announce the prizes at the event "The grace of the coconut homeland - The desire to reach far". All 105 finalist photos will also be exhibited in the series of events "The grace of the coconut homeland - The desire to reach far" at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center from April 17 to 19, 2025 as well as activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
