Commune police returned more than 10 million VND to an old man who dropped it on the street.

Police of Phu Thanh commune, Phu Tan district, An Giang province were patrolling to ensure security and order when they picked up and returned 10.5 million VND to an old man who had dropped it on the street.

On January 21, a representative of the Phu Thanh Commune Police, Phu Tan District, An Giang Province returned 10.5 million VND and lost personal documents to Mr. Phan Hoang Phuc (residing in Phu Hiep Hamlet, Cho Vam Town, Phu Tan District).

Previously, at around 1:00 p.m. on January 20, the Phu Thanh Commune Police working group organized a patrol to ensure security and order during the Lunar New Year.

When the team arrived at the road in Phu Thuong hamlet, Phu Thanh commune, they discovered a wallet containing 10.5 million VND in cash and many important documents such as vehicle registration, driver's license, and citizen identification card, all bearing the name Phan Hoang Phuc.

The patrol team reported the incident to the leaders of the Commune Police and Phu Tan District Police. After receiving instructions, Phu Thanh Commune Police coordinated with Cho Vam Town Police to verify and find the owner of the wallet. Phu Thanh Commune Police contacted and invited Mr. Phan Hoang Phuc to the headquarters to complete the procedures to return all assets.

After receiving his lost property, Mr. Phuc was moved and thanked the officers and soldiers of Phu Thanh Commune Police for their dedication in helping him find all of his property.
