Bank stocks and Vingroup help VN-Index regain more than 10 points

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 13,586.73 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately 440 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, VRE shares were bought the most with a value of more than 163 billion VND, followed by VHM (119 billion VND), GEX (78 billion VND)... On the contrary, SSI was sold the most (167 billion VND), followed by MSN (106 billion VND), FRT (104 billion VND)...

Today's session, bluechip stocks raced to break out at the end of the session. The VN30 group of stocks ended the session with 22 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 5 stocks decreasing.

Of which, VRE increased by 4.44% to VND20,000/share, STB increased by 3.66% to VND39,700/share, VHM increased by 3.31% to VND53,000/share, VIC increased by 2.93% to VND59,700/share, MBB increased by 2.07%, PLX increased by 1.9%, TCB increased by 1.64%, HDB increased by 1.58%, BCM increased by 1.47%, GAS increased by 1.05%.

Codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HPG, LPB, SAB, SSI, VCB, VIB, VJC, VNM, VPB, increased slightly.

Three codes stopped at reference: SHB, SSB, TPB.

On the other hand, GVR decreased by 1.7%, BVH decreased by 1.13%. The remaining codes: FPT, MSN, MWG decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks traded very positively with many codes suddenly increasing sharply such as: SMC hit the ceiling price to 7,170 VND/share, HMC increased by 4.68% to 12,300 VND/share, TLH increased by 2.36%, HSG increased by 2.33%. The remaining codes: NKG increased by 1%, HPG, VCA increased slightly, DTL stopped at reference.

Most securities stocks fluctuated slightly and closed up 0.72%. Besides SSI mentioned above, VIX increased by 2.04%, VCI increased by 1.83%, TVS increased by 1.05%, AGR, CTS, DSE, HCM, TCI, VDS, VND increased slightly, TVB stopped at reference. On the contrary, ORS decreased by 1.81%, APG, BSI, FTS decreased slightly.

Banking stocks traded well and closed the session up 0.97%. In addition to the codes ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB increased slightly, MSB stopped at reference, OCB increased 1.35%, NAB increased 3%.

Real estate stocks closed up 1.81%. Besides the Vingroup stocks (VHM, VIC, VRE) mentioned above, other codes such as: DXS increased by 2.75%, FIR increased by 2.15%, LGL increased by 3.79%, NBB increased by 3.04%, NVT increased by 2.82%, TDH increased by 2.07%...

In addition, stock industry groups such as: energy increased by 2.07%, transportation increased by 1.16%, consumer goods and decoration increased by 1.08%, raw materials increased by 1.02%, production materials, food, beverages and tobacco increased slightly.

On the other hand, insurance, utilities, software, durable goods distribution and retail, telecommunications, and health care decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index increased sharply at the end of the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 15.75 points (+0.73%), to 2,163.42 points. Liquidity in the whole market, with trading volume reaching 627.14 billion units, equivalent to trading value reaching 15,462.44 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 254 stocks increasing in price, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 116 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 236.42 points, up 1.35 points (+0.58%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 46.12 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 719.94 billion. The entire floor had 104 stocks increasing, 53 stocks remaining unchanged and 60 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 5.17 points (+1.07%) to 487.90 points. Trading volume reached about 26.45 million units, equivalent to more than VND515,529 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 21 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 7 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 98.01 points, down 0.04 points (-0.04%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 30.16 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 393.48 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 169 stocks increasing, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 119 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 10.47 points (+0.80%) at 1,317.33 points. Liquidity reached over 608.96 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND14,801.30 billion. The entire floor had 308 stocks increasing, 81 stocks remaining unchanged and 133 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 13.03 points (+0.96%) to 1,376.91 points. Liquidity reached over 237.29 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND7,669.25 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 22 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 5 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were SHB (over 36.19 million units), GEX (over 32.86 million units), VIX (over 20.15 million units), SSI (over 18.40 million units), VRE (over 16.45 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were VAF (6.94%), YBM (6.91%), FCM (6.88%), SMC (6.86%), DTT (6.85%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were PMG (-6.95%), FRT (-6.67%), SRF (-5.61%), SHI (-4.78%), TNC (-4.69%).
