Egypt shares a border with the Gaza Strip, but is not involved in the current conflict. Airlines and tour operators will continue to operate flights to and from Egypt. The routes will now pass through Italian airspace and the Mediterranean Sea instead of Israel.

However, the UK Foreign Office still warns against travel to locations within 20km of the Egypt/Libya border. In particular, cancel all non-essential travel to the northern and southern Sinai Peninsula, eastern Ismailiyah province, much of the Western Desert, the Hala'ib Triangle and Bir Tawil.

However, if you still plan to visit Egypt, you can consider resorts in the Red Sea area such as Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada. These two cities are far from the border with Israel.
Geographically, Cyprus is about 250 miles from the coast of Israel. However, the island has so far been unaffected by the conflict, and the UK has not issued any travel advisories to Cyprus. Flights are still operating but do not enter Israeli airspace.
Jordan shares a western border with Israel and a northern border with Syria. The UK advises against travelling within 3km of Jordan's border with Syria. Border crossings into Israel may be closed at short notice, so travellers should check with local authorities. Popular Jordanian destinations such as Petra and Amman are not subject to travel restrictions.
“In light of recent developments in Gaza, we would like to stress that Jordan continues to be a safe and welcoming destination for tourists from all over the world,” the Jordan Tourism Authority said in a statement.
Airlines including British Airways, easyJet, Tui and Wizz continue to operate flights to Jordan from Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports. A spokesman for Wizz Air said the airline was rerouting all flights to Jordan via Egyptian airspace.
