Opportunity to work in Japan and Korea

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the recruitment of workers to work in Japan along with a Korean language test for workers who want to return to Korea.

The Japanese market is in need of 156 additional nurses, caregivers and care workers to work under the Program to Send Vietnamese Nurses and Caregivers to Work in Japan (EPA). The program under the Vietnam - Japan Economic Partnership Agreement has been implemented by the Department of Overseas Labor (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs) since 2012. EPA program candidates must be no older than 35 years old, have achieved the JLPT N3 level of the Japanese language proficiency test; have graduated from college or bachelor's degree in nursing or general nursing; meet health conditions confirmed by competent authorities; have no criminal record or criminal prosecution. Nursing candidates must be granted a certificate to practice medical examination and treatment according to regulations and have at least 2 years of experience as a nurse. Selected candidates will participate in a 3-month free Japanese language training course, receive accommodation and living allowances, and are expected to arrive in Japan in 2025. The maximum time to study and work in Japan is 3-4 years, with a salary of 27-37 million VND/month and can reach 38-47 million VND/month depending on the position. In addition, they will be given the opportunity to participate in the Japanese national certification exam for nursing, caregiving, and care workers to be granted a long-term work permit in Japan. Workers will submit their applications directly to the Department of Overseas Labor (41B Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) until August 31. Meanwhile, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that there will be a special Korean language test on the computer for workers working under the EPS Program who return home on time in the following industries: Manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and fisheries. Candidates must meet all the conditions. Age from 18 - 39; have worked in Korea under the EPS Program, expired for 3 years and had the working period extended for another 1 year and 10 months, voluntarily return to the country on time or before the expiration of legal residence in Korea (returning from January 1, 2010 onwards). If you have ever resided in Korea under an E-9 or E-10 visa, the total residence period must be less than 5 years. At the same time, you must not have a criminal record according to the law, have never been deported from Korea, not be banned from leaving Vietnam and be healthy enough to work in Korea. Notice to candidates who wish to continue working at the last Korean company they worked for before returning to the country when they have worked for more than 1 year, they must register for the exam according to the profession they previously worked for.
