Young teacher enthusiastic about union work

On March 25, 2025, talking to us after the award ceremony of "Outstanding Young Faces of Quang Tri Province" in 2024, Ms. Nhi could not hide her happiness. For many years, Cap Thi Nhi has been a familiar face participating in many social charity activities, youth volunteer activities of Trieu Phong district and the education sector.

Therefore, this is also a worthy reward for the young female teacher's tireless efforts and dedication in all aspects of her work. In 2014, Ms. Nhi graduated from the Department of Geography Education, Hue University of Education, and then worked at Vinh Dinh High School. As a young teacher, with a spirit of enthusiasm and creativity, she constantly researches, proactively learns from colleagues, actively innovates teaching methods as well as has many initiatives and experiences to improve the overall quality of education of the school; applying models that bring high efficiency in teaching.

With 11 years of dedication to the career of educating people, having participated in the Youth Union in many different roles, Ms. Nhi is always dedicated, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.

“Since 2017, I have taken on the role of deputy secretary of the school’s youth union and have participated more in the school’s youth union and youth movement. At first, I had to overcome a lot of pressure to arrange my time reasonably for many different tasks while teaching and working for the youth union. On the other hand, because I was young and inexperienced, everything was very confusing. However, thanks to the care and encouragement of the school board, colleagues and the love of the students, I had more motivation to complete all tasks well,” said Ms. Nhi.

To develop the Youth Union movement, Ms. Nhi always focuses on cultivating and learning from teachers who have worked in the Youth Union; practicing more communication skills, presentation skills, finding new topics, creating excitement for union members and young people to participate in union activities. Dynamic, confident and working effectively, in 2023, Ms. Nhi was elected as Secretary of the School Youth Union.

Promoting the role of “leader”, she came up with ideas as well as coordinated the implementation of many movements, had many initiatives to attract and gather union members and youth to build good models, with practical meaning towards the community and give love to students in special circumstances. Notably, she implemented the model “Foster children of the Union” in the teachers’ union branch to support and care for disadvantaged students, slow in learning and life.

Timely support for union cadres, class officers and students in difficult circumstances, accidents and illnesses; organize the program "Ao Dai for children" on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8; the program "Lighting up Vinh Dinh's dreams" for the 13th time; "Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims", giving 71.3 million VND to 57 students in difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies; the program "Winter Volunteer"; visit, give gifts and clean houses for lonely elderly people...

In addition to social charity activities for the unfortunate, the Orphanage focuses on organizing members to participate in on-site volunteer activities, building a healthy educational environment such as: Promoting the spirit of volunteering, maintaining environmental hygiene, undertaking youth projects, building a green - clean - beautiful landscape for the school; maintaining activities such as "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday".

The school's Youth Union actively responds to and organizes the implementation of campaigns, movements, programs, and forums launched by the higher-level Youth Union in diverse and effective forms; strengthens the propaganda to implement plans through the Youth Union's fanpage, school radio, bulletin boards of publications, and social networking sites.

Under the leadership of Ms. Nhi, Vinh Dinh High School Youth Union has grown stronger and stronger; many members have been awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Youth Union for their active contributions to exam support activities, the "Red Flamboyant" and "Green Summer" campaigns, and have won high prizes in cultural, artistic and creative youth competitions at all levels...

With her efforts and dedication to the Youth Union, Nhi has been awarded many certificates of merit by all levels and sectors, notably the award "Outstanding Young Face of Quang Tri Province" in 2024.

“I always keep in mind that if I want to pass something on to others or start a movement, I myself must be a pioneer, showing a pioneering spirit in the process of implementation. Perhaps, my happiness, like that of many teachers working in the Youth Union, is to always live with that youthful spirit and enthusiasm,” said Ms. Nhi.
