Ms. H Riết Êban (Head of Sut M'đưng hamlet) said that the hamlet has 372 households with 1,849 people, mainly Ede people; 169 households, 929 people follow Protestantism. People in the hamlet mainly work in agriculture. In the past, because of gullibility, many Protestant households in the hamlet listened to the enticements and enticements of bad people to abandon their legal religious activities to gather and pray at illegal religious groups called "Independent Protestant Homes", potentially complicating the political security and social order situation in the area. Since the People's Committee of Cu Sue commune built the above model, with perseverance and skillfulness in propaganda and mobilization, up to now, 29 households (51 people)/33 households (57 people) have returned to practice at legal religious activities. When returning, people actively participate in activities at their place of residence, living a good life.
In Sut H'luot village, thanks to explanations and propaganda, many households that were lured by bad guys into participating in illegal religious activities have voluntarily returned to purely religious activities. They work hard and produce to develop their family economy.
Members of the model propagate that Protestant people in Sut H'luot village only participate in activities at legal religious places. |
For example, Mrs. H'En Kbuôr's family has 9 members, following the Protestant religion. In 2021, because she listened to some bad people, her whole family stopped participating in the activities of the Cu Sue Protestant Association and joined the "Independent Private Protestant Group" in the village. Only when the commune and village officials explained, propagandized, and mobilized, did her family and many households in the village know that this group was operating illegally, being exploited by reactionary exiles, aiming to sabotage the great unity of the whole nation. Therefore, in December 2024, her family returned to participate in the activities of the Cu Sue Protestant Association.
Mr. Dang Van Hoan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Sue Commune, said that after nearly 6 months, the model has mobilized 41 households (85 people) out of 65 households (119 people) to return to practice at legal religious places. In order for the model to continue to be effective, the political system from the commune to the village and hamlet continues to closely coordinate with prestigious people, village elders, dignitaries, and officials to actively advocate and propagate. In addition, promote the role of local organizations and unions, help and guide people to participate in religious activities in accordance with the law. At the same time, strengthen the grasp of the grassroots, promptly detect and strictly handle all types of crimes, ensuring security and order in the area.
