In particular, promoting propaganda, dissemination and education of the law, the consequences of child marriage and consanguineous marriage. At the same time, organizing a variety of thematic conferences, seminars, law competitions and establishing models on preventing and combating child marriage and consanguineous marriage. Effective models such as: "Say no to child marriage and consanguineous marriage"; "Happy Family" Club, "Women with the Law"... Thereby, all classes of people raise awareness and sense of compliance with the law on population, gradually pushing back child marriage and consanguineous marriage.

Notably, the important contribution of prestigious people among ethnic minorities in propagating and mobilizing people to practice civilized lifestyles. Prestigious people actively coordinate with Party committees at all levels, authorities, associations and unions to strengthen propaganda to help people and young people comply with the Law on Marriage and Family, change backward thinking, and gradually reduce child marriage.

As the main force in the fight against child marriage and consanguineous marriage, ethnic minorities are the spearhead force, members of models and actively implementing related projects and programs. Notable projects include Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent problems for women and children", Sub-project 2, Project 9 "Reducing child marriage and consanguineous marriage in ethnic minority and mountainous areas" under the National Target Program... Thereby, spreading and mobilizing changes in thinking and working methods, eliminating gender stereotypes, preventing and combating child marriage and consanguineous marriage, and being highly appreciated by Party committees and authorities.

The province currently has over 179,000 women's union members, most of whom are ethnic minority women. Promoting the pioneering role in pushing back the problem of early marriage and consanguineous marriage, ethnic minority women and union members have many good and creative ways to build Ha Giang women in the new era. From 2021 to present, 100% of Women's Union officials at all levels have signed a commitment to eliminate the bad customs of early marriage, forced marriage, and consanguineous marriage; 52,950 households have signed a commitment not to let their children get married early. In addition, 11,840 awareness raising sessions have been organized to prevent and combat early marriage and consanguineous marriage; Established 85 models and clubs on eliminating bad customs, 1,071 community communication groups, 146 "Leaders of Change" Clubs... These are new, comprehensive approaches, focusing on ethnic minority children and women to reduce early marriage and incestuous marriage.

Preventing and combating child marriage and incestuous marriage is an important, long-term task towards sustainable development of ethnic minority areas and stabilizing the socio-economic situation. In the coming time, our province will continue to mobilize the participation of ethnic minorities in eliminating bad customs; implementing solutions to improve economic life, cultural level and communication to change old awareness and thinking, minimizing the situation of child marriage and incestuous marriage.
