At the meeting, representatives of the General Department of Logistics and relevant agencies reported on the draft plan to ensure the unit's logistics for important events in 2024, focusing on the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San chaired a working session on logistics assurance for major events in 2024.

Accordingly, the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory will include rallies, military parades, and marches with the participation of many combined military and civilian forces.

The General Department of Logistics and agencies and units have developed a plan to ensure from the training stage until the official mission, on all aspects of assurance: Food, clothing, accommodation, military medical work, fuel, transportation... all have detailed plans and options for each situation, consistent with the general plans of the Ministry of National Defense and the organizing committee.

According to the report of the representative of the Department of Finance, the financial guarantee plan will be implemented in accordance with the instructions, regulations and approval of the competent authority.

Regarding the work of ensuring the health of delegates and participating forces, according to the leader of the Military Medical Department, it is planned to set up a field hospital in Dien Bien Phu; there is a mobile emergency team ready to respond to situations that may arise. The Military Medical Department also considers the plan to mobilize medical facilities in surrounding localities as well as the plan to move patients in each specific situation.

Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San emphasized: The General Department of Logistics and agencies need to be proactive and proactive, ensuring good logistics from the preparation stages (training and practice of forces participating in the parade) and throughout the celebration process. In particular, the Finance Department needs to prepare an early estimate, synthesize a report for approval to ensure the budget for the events. The Military Medical Department ensures the health of soldiers during training, has a tight plan, and does a good job of disease prevention.

Conduct specific surveys in the area to develop a realistic plan, especially regarding food, accommodation, and transportation to ensure proper, thoughtful, and absolutely safe arrangements.

Based on the logistics plan for the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, continue to develop a logistics plan for the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army, ensuring solemnity, thoughtfulness, safety and economy.
