The entire Nui Thanh district currently has 30 OCOP products from 4 enterprises (7 products), 11 cooperatives (14 products), 8 business households (9 products); with 4 products achieving 4 stars, 26 products achieving 3 stars. Nui Thanh has supported 50% of the cost to build 4 points to introduce and sell OCOP products in communes and towns.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nui Thanh district said that most of the OCOP products in Nui Thanh district are produced and processed from local raw materials. To make consumers aware of OCOP products, the district has implemented many trade promotion and trade connection activities.
“The OCOP product introduction and sales points in the district are increasingly being visited by people and introduced to many people. Along with building and forming OCOP product distribution chains, the district promotes supply-demand connection activities, linking to connect with provincial and national e-commerce platforms to open up the market for OCOP goods,” said Mr. Linh.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Manh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nui Thanh Agricultural - Fishery Cooperative said that thanks to focusing on investing in the quality of OCOP products and support from functional agencies, the consumption of goods in 2024 will double compared to 2023.
Mr. Manh hopes that in the coming time, OCOP entities will continue to be supported to expand market connection channels so that OCOP products can be exported. Up to now, the OCOP product Tam Tien anchovy cake of Nui Thanh Agricultural - Fishery Cooperative has been recognized with 4 stars by the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Ngo Duc An - Vice Chairman of Nui Thanh District People's Committee shared that the good news is that many OCOP products have applied VietGAP production process, deep processing and achieved HACCP certification.
Products are attached with traceability stamps, barcodes, trademark registration with the Intellectual Property Office and granted trademark certificates.
The District People's Committee assigned the district's functional agencies to coordinate with provincial and national functional agencies to support OCOP entities in diversifying their commercial forms, especially improving their capacity to participate in modern sales channels on social networks, e-commerce platforms, and multinational commercial channels. Thereby creating a stronger spread, enhancing product image, affirming the reputation and brand of Nui Thanh OCOP goods in the market.
"That is the way for us to develop the OCOP program in depth, sustainably, improve efficiency, create economic changes, especially shift and improve the rural economy," said Mr. An.
