Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh works with the Cao Bang City Party Committee delegation

On the afternoon of August 3, in Hanoi, comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, received and worked with the Cao Bang City Party Committee delegation led by comrade Le Hai Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee.

At the working session, the delegation reported an overview of the socio-economic development situation of the City. From the beginning of 2023, the City focused on leadership, direction, and assigned tasks to each agency and unit to implement socio-economic development goals and targets. The agricultural sector developed stably, the productivity of major crops increased significantly compared to the same period, food security was ensured, and the National Target Program on New Rural Development was focused on implementation.

Solutions to remove difficulties in production, business, trade and service activities have been implemented synchronously and effectively. Industrial production value (at current prices) in 7 months reached 223.45/393.48 billion VND, reaching 56.7% of the plan; trade and services reached 3,846/6,025 billion VND, reaching 63.8% of the plan, equal to 175.8% over the same period in 2022; industrial production value increased by 18.5% over the same period; total circulation of goods increased by 75.8%. State budget revenue by July 31, 2023 reached 179.6/413.4 billion VND, reaching 43.4% of the provincial budget plan.

Tourism services continue to develop, and the number of visitors is forecast to exceed the planned target. In the first 7 months of the year, the City welcomed 554,611 visitors (29,159 international visitors, 525,452 domestic visitors). Planning work continues to be implemented and quality improved. Coordinated with the Department of Construction to develop a project to adjust the City's general planning until 2045, and is developing 11/11 zoning planning projects for wards and communes in the area.

The delegation requested the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to support people's work and improve the cultural and social life of the City in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh affirmed: The State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises always considers the implementation of social security in localities as an important task. He requested the functional departments of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to coordinate with affiliated enterprises to develop detailed plans and soon implement meaningful social security programs in Cao Bang province in the coming time.
