Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee dialogues with young people

The dialogue was chaired by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Truong Quoc Huy. The conference was connected online from the starting point of the Provincial People's Committee Hall to 6 connecting points of cities, districts and towns.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy emphasized the important role of Ha Nam's youth in local construction and development. He also said that the Party Committee and authorities at all levels in the province always pay attention to the youth, creating favorable conditions for the youth to promote their capacity, intelligence, and improve their professional qualifications in all aspects.

The 2024 Youth Dialogue Conference aims to receive opinions and recommendations from youth in the province on implementing mechanisms, building and implementing legal policies for youth to study, work and develop; providing and disseminating policies and laws for youth; answering questions related to the rights and legitimate interests of youth in the process of implementing State policies and laws for youth. At the same time, creating conditions for youth to express their aspirations, initiatives, recommendations and proposals related to the implementation of socio-economic development policies and guidelines in the province.

With a constructive, responsible and open spirit at the dialogue, representatives of union members and youth at the connecting points raised questions to the head of the Provincial People's Committee. The content focused mainly on 3 main groups of issues: career, employment and support policies for youth.

Youth union members and young people at the conference raised questions for dialogue and were directly answered and resolved by leaders of provincial departments and branches, basically meeting the wishes and concerns of young people in the province.

At the end of the conference, comrade Truong Quoc Huy affirmed: today's dialogue conference has opened a forum for union members, youth and state agencies, provincial authorities to regularly exchange, resolve difficulties, contribute efforts and ideas for the development of the province and the country.

In the coming time, to continue promoting the role and responsibility of the youth force in the work of building a clean and strong Party and government, developing the economy and society, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the province, he suggested that the heads of Party committees and governments at all levels; heads of departments, branches and sectors increase direct dialogue activities with union members and youth to promptly receive recommendations and proposals, thereby having specific solutions to improve the quality of leadership and direction of Party committees; management and operation of the government; regularly pay attention to vocational training and job creation for youth, especially union members and youth in mountainous areas and areas with special difficulties in the province.

Youth Union organizations in the province must truly innovate in the work of mobilizing, gathering, uniting, and orienting the young generation of the province, especially in the method of organizing movements, in order to promote the potential and strengths of the youth, associated with the implementation of political tasks of agencies, units, and localities, at the same time, educating and fostering revolutionary traditions for union members and young people, forming good qualities of the young generation.

He also expressed his hope that Ha Nam province’s youth would actively learn on their own, grasp the trends of the times, and aim for what society needs to build and develop the economy. The province always encourages and creates conditions for youth, and will also guide and advise on directions, support them with techniques, capital, market research, share experiences, foster management skills, and always be a companion to youth.

Propose that the provincial departments, branches and sectors seriously absorb the issues discussed and answered at today's dialogue conference, proactively propose timely and effective solutions to the legitimate opinions and recommendations of young people. Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, unions at all levels and enterprises in the province continue to pay attention to leading, directing and supporting the Youth Union movement and youth work, taking care of young people more, creating conditions for the Youth Union to organize practical and effective movements; pay attention to training, practicing and promoting the role of young cadres and party members at all levels, branches, agencies and units.
