Owner of 5-star restaurant Elisa in Ho Chi Minh City has debt seized by bank

On April 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center will auction the debt of Hao Huy Trading Company Limited arising at Agribank - Saigon Branch. The estimated value of the debt as of February 28, 2025 is nearly 134 billion VND, of which the principal balance is more than 59.8 billion VND and the interest debt is more than 74.1 billion VND.

The collateral is the 5-star restaurant ship Elisa with a certificate of registration for inland waterway vehicles issued by the management agency on October 24, 2012. The ship was built in 2007 by Bao Tin Company Limited, the hull is made of steel and can carry up to 1,000 people or 20 tons of cargo.

Currently, the ship is owned by Hao Huy Trading Company Limited and is being used as a restaurant anchored at Saigon Port. In addition, the mortgaged property also includes a Camry SE car.

Hao Huy Trading Company Limited was established in 2005 with a charter capital of 60 billion VND. The company is the investor of Elisa Floating Restaurant (Elisa ship), operating restaurants and mobile catering services.
