The ward People's Committee leader assigned Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hong (a judicial officer) to work, make a record and check the property. Inside the wallet, Ms. Hong and Mr. Dao determined that there was a Vertu phone and more than 52 million VND in cash along with some personal documents.
Immediately afterwards, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sang (45 years old, in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) also went to the ward People's Committee headquarters to report the loss of a wallet while washing his car.
Ms. Hong compared the photo on the ID card in the wallet and asked Mr. Sang to use another phone to call the phone number in the Vertu. After confirming that Mr. Sang was the owner of the above assets, the People's Committee of Phu Do Ward proceeded to hand them over to Mr. Sang.
