On April 20, according to information from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the Chairman of the People's Committee of this province has just issued a decision approving the 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2024-2025 school year in the province.
Specifically, the form of admission to grade 10 of Phan Ngoc Hien High School for the Gifted is implemented according to the provisions of Circular No. 05/2023/TT-BGDDT dated February 28, 2023 of the Ministry of Education and Training on the regulations on organization and operation of specialized high schools.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Ca Mau province will enroll no more than 350 students into Phan Ngoc Hien High School for the Gifted.
The admission requirements are that students have permanent or temporary residence in Ca Mau province and are within the prescribed age. The results of training and studying (conduct, academic performance) for the entire school year of junior high school classes and graduating from junior high school are ranked from good or above.
Application submission period is from May 25 to June 5; entrance exam is from June 13 to 15; admission and result announcement is on June 22; exam review period is from June 24 to 30. The enrollment quota for 10 specialized school classes is no more than 350 students.
Admission to grade 10 of general education and continuing education systems is by examination according to regulations in Consolidated Document No. 03/VBHN-BGDĐT dated May 3, 2019 of the Ministry of Education and Training on regulations on admission to junior high school and high school.
The admission subjects are students with permanent or temporary residence in Ca Mau province. High schools in areas bordering other provinces are allowed to enroll students from outside the province in neighboring areas if they have sufficient facilities and teaching staff. Students have the right to register for admission to all high schools in Ca Mau province. The first admission period is from June 15 to July 20. The second admission period is from August 1 to 15.
