Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, Head of the Tax Department of Nhu Thanh - Nhu Xuan area, said: In 2024, the budget revenue will reach the estimate assigned by the People's Council of the 2 districts to the unit of over 278 billion VND. To complete the target and exceed the plan, one of the solutions implemented by the department at the beginning of 2024 is to advise and propose to the People's Committees of Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan districts to allocate the budget revenue estimate to communes and towns. Develop a collection plan close to local reality, ensure correct, full and timely collection and prevent revenue loss, limit tax arrears and arrears; review arising revenue sources. At the same time, publicly post administrative procedures at the reception and result return department; promote the dissemination of tax law compliance and support for taxpayers; issue full notices of payment of outstanding and arising taxes, fees and charges from the beginning of 2024 to taxpayers; Support business organizations and individuals to use electronic tax declaration and payment applications, electronic invoices and receipts. Strengthen the inspection and supervision of taxpayers' tax declaration records, promptly monitor and urge the tax arising; effectively receive tax declaration records, guide taxpayers, tax regimes and policies; train taxpayers on new tax regimes and policies; request enterprises to supplement tax declaration records, especially for enterprises that do not declare close to their revenue; coordinate with the district's functional departments to establish an interdisciplinary tax debt collection team; review and grasp the production and business situation of enterprises to prevent tax loss.
In addition, continue to implement the management of households and individuals doing business according to digital maps; coordinate with departments and branches to deploy a centralized database on land, as a premise to prevent revenue loss from real estate transfer activities, avoiding the situation of "two-price" transfers. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the use of invoices by organizations and enterprises, thereby promptly detecting, preventing and handling signs of illegal buying and selling and using invoices at enterprises, especially deploying electronic invoices for each sale for petroleum enterprises. Thanks to the implementation of synchronous solutions, in the first 2 months of 2024, the total budget revenue in Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan districts reached 36.4 billion VND, reaching 16.7% of the estimate assigned by the ordinance.
Currently, the Tax Department of Nhu Thanh - Nhu Xuan area is focusing on coordinating with other sectors to advise local Party committees and authorities to promptly resolve difficulties and problems in production and business activities and tax obligations of enterprises and cooperatives. Review and re-evaluate revenue sources, analyze factors affecting revenue sources, unstable revenue sources, clarify revenue items, taxes that are still under-collected, potential revenue sources... to successfully complete tax collection in 2024, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio-economic development goals.
