On the morning of February 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of District 8 (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with relevant units to handle the scene and investigate the cause of the fire at a paper shop on Hung Phu Street (Ward 10).

According to initial information, at approximately 11:40 PM on February 22nd, a fire suddenly broke out on the second floor of a house located at 893 Hung Phu Street (Ward 10, District 8). Upon discovering the fire, residents in the area and the local fire department attempted to extinguish it but were unsuccessful. The flames quickly spread, and a column of smoke rose high into the air. Many residents had to grab their belongings and evacuate.
Upon receiving the report, the District 8 Police dispatched two fire trucks and dozens of officers to the scene. By 3:00 AM on February 23rd, the fire was completely extinguished.
According to information from the leaders of Ward 10 People's Committee, the house in question was rented by Mr. NTT (42 years old) for the business of selling paper, garbage bags, etc.
The fire caused no casualties but destroyed many belongings inside the house, including: 1 motorbike, 200 rolls of toilet paper, 100 kg of garbage bags, and many other items.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the authorities.
