On January 15, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) are investigating the fire at Mizuki Park Nam Long apartment building.
Some people with smoke inhalation were taken to the emergency room.
At 7 p.m., a fire broke out on the third floor of the MP3 block of the Mizuki Park Nam Long apartment building on Nguyen Van Linh Street in Binh Hung Commune. At that time, the fire alarm rang, causing hundreds of residents to run downstairs through the stairs. Smoke then spread to many apartments.
Fire police of Binh Chanh district police along with fire trucks, ladder trucks, and ambulances were mobilized to the scene.
Police and firefighters at the apartment building put out the fire and prevented it from spreading.
Initial investigation determined that some people suffered from smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
