Attending the seminar on the guest side were Senior Lecturer, MSc. Ha Thi Thanh Van, Deputy Director of Vietnam Women's Academy; MSc. Dr. Nguyen Thu Giang, Director of the Compassionate Arms Fund, Ministry of Health.
On the Academy side, there were Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, Deputy Director of the Academy; Mr. Duong Thanh Binh, Deputy Chief of Office; Ms. Do Tu Hien, Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Chief of Office Intern, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hoang Linh, Deputy Head of Training Department, Head of International Economics Department; Ms. Nguyen Do Ngan Giang, Head of Women's Union and all staff, union members and students of the Diplomatic Academy.

At the Seminar, Mr. Nguyen Hung Son affirmed the position, role and importance of women today, the great contribution of women to the development of the Diplomatic Academy. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Hung Son also affirmed that the Academy's leaders always care and create the best conditions for women to strive and maximize their abilities and roles.
During the discussion, Ms. Ha Thi Thanh Van shared the topic of women’s health and psychology and pointed out factors that affect psychological problems and put pressure on women. She affirmed that everyone in the family and society needs to pay attention, sympathize and share with women.
Ms. Thanh Van also sent a message to Vietnamese women of the new era: to create for themselves three diamond values: "calm mind, dynamic mind, deep vision".
Also in the discussion, Dr. Nguyen Thu Giang discussed the issue of proactive health care. The speaker shared that proactive health care is taking care of health before the body shows signs of disease.
Currently, Vietnam is facing many health warnings such as: blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, depression... in both sexes. Therefore, Ms. Giang emphasized the important role of proactive health check-ups such as pre-marital health check-ups, vaccinations, regular check-ups, exercise, eating and living in moderation to maintain health.
The seminar was successfully held in a joyful and open atmosphere. This was also an opportunity to honor female cadres and union members of the Academy in general and Vietnamese women in particular, while also bringing new perspectives on the topic of mental health care for women in the new era.
Also in the series of activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, the Diplomatic Academy Trade Union in collaboration with the Breast Center, Vinmec International General Hospital organized consultation and guidance on self-examination for cancer, ultrasound screening for breast cancer, one of the diseases that causes high morbidity and mortality among Vietnamese women.
