On May 24, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a document terminating the validity of all previously issued documents of the Provincial People's Committee related to land division and consolidation in the entire province.
Land division and consolidation in Lam Dong will be "unleashed"
Specifically, the documents that have been terminated include: Document No. 4911/UBND-DC dated July 5, 2022 on receiving, reviewing, and resolving dossiers on land division and consolidation in the area; Document No. 1952/UBND-DC1 dated March 16, 2023 on handling difficulties and problems related to land division, land separation, and real estate business in the area.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Lam Dong was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to draft a decision to replace Decision No. 40/2021/QD-UBND dated November 1, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on regulations on conditions for land plot separation and consolidation and minimum area for land plot separation for each type of land in the area.
Documents causing problems in land division and consolidation in Lam Dong have officially ceased to be effective.
The draft content must be built in accordance with the provisions of the land law on land division and land consolidation (only the provisions that the provincial People's Committee must promulgate). At the same time, the provisions on opening roads, reclaiming land for roads, and the provisions on detailed planning and project establishment (as they have been stipulated in relevant laws) must be removed. This draft must be completed before June 25.
Previously, on May 12, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment reported and proposed the Provincial People's Committee to cancel the above two documents due to difficulties and obstacles in implementation; at the same time, it recommended that while waiting for amendments and replacements to Decision No. 40/2021/QD-UBND, the reception and handling of dossiers for land plot separation and consolidation in the area will still be carried out according to the provisions of this Decision No. 40/2021/QD-UBND.
