From April 26-27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province co-chaired and coordinated with relevant departments, ministries, branches and localities to organize a Conference to summarize 5 years of implementing the Project "Mobilizing Vietnamese people abroad to participate in introducing, consuming products and developing distribution channels for Vietnamese goods abroad". in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa , in a combination of direct and online form .

The project "Mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to participate in introducing, consuming products and developing distribution channels for Vietnamese goods abroad, period 2020-2024" is one of the important policies of the Party and State, not only contributing to promoting the country's economic and trade development through goods export activities but also contributing to affirming the brand and quality of Vietnamese products, demonstrating the image and "soft" value of Vietnam in the international arena. After 5 years, the implementation of the project has achieved many positive results in terms of propaganda, product promotion and promoting goods export.

The conference aims to objectively, comprehensively and quantitatively evaluate the results achieved and draw lessons learned during the implementation process; propose solutions to increase the mobilization of overseas Vietnamese to participate in introducing, consuming products and developing distribution channels for Vietnamese goods abroad in the period of 2025-2029, contributing directly to promoting exports; create opportunities to connect localities, business communities, domestic industry associations with overseas Vietnamese businesses, together seeking new directions and potential cooperation opportunities in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.

It is expected that there will be more than 200 delegates including overseas Vietnamese, some of whom are business owners with supermarket chains and distribution systems for Vietnamese goods in other countries, representatives of the Association of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Abroad, and leaders of associations. and overseas Vietnamese businessmen and enterprises; Government leaders; leaders of departments, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations; representatives of provincial/municipal leaders; representatives of a number of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad and overseas Vietnamese attending online.

This will be a good opportunity to strengthen the connection between localities, business communities, domestic industry associations with overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses.
