Ghanaian football star Raphael Dwamena collapsed on the pitch due to a heart attack and died shortly afterwards.

The world of football received sad news yesterday. In the 23rd minute of the match between FK Egnatia and Partizani in the Albanian national championship, player Raphael Dwamena collapsed on the field without contacting anyone.
According to initial information, Raphael Dwamena suffered a heart attack during the match. Immediately, doctors entered the field to provide first aid to the Ghanaian player. Players from both teams also stood in a circle to shield and pray for Raphael Dwamena.
However, unfortunately, the Ghanaian star passed away later, leaving players from both teams in shock. The organizers decided to cancel the match between FK Egnatia and Partizani.
The Ghana Football Association sent its condolences to Raphael Dwamena's family: "The Ghana Football Association is saddened to learn of the passing of player Raphael Dwamena. We express our deepest condolences to his family at this difficult time.
The Ghanaian striker died after collapsing on the pitch during an Albanian league match on Saturday. The Egnatia player suffered a heart attack during the match between Egnatia and Partizani".
"He always performed well for his country," said Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, president of the Ghana Football Association. "This news is difficult to accept. My condolences to Raphael Dwamena's family. May he rest in peace."

Raphael Dwamena was born in 1995, and grew up in the Salzburg club's training center, which produced many excellent players such as Minamino, Sadio Mane, Erling Haaland... During his career, Raphael Dwamena has played for many notable clubs such as Levante, Zaragoza (Spain), Vejle (Denmark).
Before joining Egnatia, Raphael Dwamena played for Old Boys Club (Switzerland). During his career, Raphael Dwamena played 9 times for the Ghana national team.
It is worth mentioning that in 2017, the Ghanaian player seemed to have set foot in Brighton Club (England) but then, he failed the medical examination. At that time, Raphael Dwamena was discovered to have a heart disease and had to wear a pacemaker to play.
Raphael Dwamena is always in an unsafe condition. The results of his heart measurements still show dangerous indicators, to the point that the player born in 1995 has been advised by doctors to retire early.
According to some sources, a heart problem is the factor that prevents Raphael Dwamena from reaching higher levels in his career. Levante decided to release the Ghanaian star because of this problem, causing him to drift to lower clubs.
