When I felt discouraged and sad, I remembered the happy moments when I was able to play, study, and frolic with the children. Every day at school, I heard the children calling me "teacher" and I was very happy. That was also the motivation for me to continue writing my dream, to strive for my teaching work in the coming years. That was the emotional confession of Mr. Le Van Nam, 29 years old, a chemistry teacher at Tran Van Giau High School, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, who was just honored as a typical young teacher of Ho Chi Minh City in 2024. "My mother was a good student and had many talents, but because my grandmother was too poor and had no money, even though she had a dream of becoming a literature teacher, she could not fulfill it. My sister also dreamed of becoming a foreign language teacher, but had to struggle to take care of her family... My family's circumstances made me even more determined to pursue a teaching career," said Mr. Nam.
