Nearly 200 lawyers received professional training

The training program focuses on two topics: "Professional ethics and conduct of lawyers"; "Skills of lawyers in consulting and resolving business and commercial contract disputes". These are contents of special importance, aiming to equip, update and improve professional skills, and at the same time foster professional ethics for the team of lawyers and law trainees according to the provisions of the Law on Lawyers, contributing to building the image of a lawyer with courage, standards and responsibility in practice. These contents are directly taught by the leaders of the Vietnam Bar Federation .

The Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Vietnamese Lawyers was amended, supplemented and issued under Decision No. 201/QD-HDLSTQ dated December 13, 2019 of the National Bar Council, consisting of 6 chapters and 32 rules, meeting the requirements of regulating ethical behavior and conduct for the Vietnamese lawyer team. The Code prescribes standards of ethics and professional conduct, which are a measure of the moral qualities and professional responsibilities of lawyers, which each lawyer must take as a model for behavior and cultivation, training to maintain the professional prestige and reputation of lawyers, worthy of the honor of society.

Lawyers attend professional training courses

Commercial disputes are now common and complicated disputes, because the problem is often not only in the commercial field but also related to many other fields such as land, administration, inheritance, marriage and family... That requires lawyers when participating in resolving commercial disputes not only need to have extensive knowledge in many fields but also need to apply many skills such as dialogue, mediation, negotiation... and litigation skills. Currently, the forms of resolving commercial disputes are codified into regulations in Article 317 of the Commercial Law 2005. Accordingly, there are 4 forms of resolving commercial disputes such as: Negotiation between the parties; dispute mediation; dispute resolution by commercial arbitration; dispute resolution by court.

The training course imparted knowledge and practical experience, while creating a space for sharing, exchanging, and strengthening camaraderie among lawyers inside and outside the province.
