Saigon Jewelry Company SJC listed the buying price at 78.5 million VND/tael; the selling price was 80.5 million VND/tael, keeping the same price for both buying and selling compared to the previous trading session. The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold was 2 million VND/tael.
SJC gold bars are being sold by Agribank, BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank and gold and gemstone companies at VND80.5 million/tael. On the buying side, the gold price of the brands is listed at VND78.5 million/tael.
At the same time, the gold price at DOJI Group is listed at 78.5 - 80.5 million VND/tael, stable in both buying and selling compared to the previous trading session. The difference between DOJI gold buying and selling prices is 2 million VND/tael.

For ring gold, the listed price of SJC 9999 gold is 77.8 million VND/tael for buying and 79.1 million VND/tael for selling, respectively. DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City markets kept the same buying and selling prices as yesterday morning at 77.9 million VND/tael for buying and 79.1 million VND/tael for selling. The buying and selling prices of PNJ brand ring gold are fixed at 77.95 million VND/tael and 79.1 million VND/tael.
The price of Bao Tin Minh Chau's plain round rings is fixed at 77.88 million VND/tael for buying and 79.08 million VND/tael for selling. Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 78 million VND/tael and selling at 79.2 million VND/tael.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5am today, Vietnam time, was at 2,580.55 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is unchanged from yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 75.527 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 2.973 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

The latest Kitco News weekly gold survey shows that industry experts and retail investors are bullish on gold's potential for higher prices.
According to a Kitco News survey, 62% of Wall Street analysts predict gold prices will rise, 23% see gold prices falling, and 15% see gold prices moving sideways. An online survey found that 57% of respondents see gold prices rising, 25% see gold prices falling, and the rest see gold prices moving sideways.
Gold is hitting a new record high, supported by falling interest rates and the dollar, said Marc Chandler, CEO of Bannockburn Global Forex. The rally is being fueled by monetary easing from major central banks and the looming US presidential election.
Analysts say the next price range for gold could be up to $2,600/ounce.
