Accordingly, at 9:00 a.m. on March 16, the Military-Civilian Medical Center of Con Co Island District received patient Ho Van Hung, born in 1984, from Duc Trach Commune, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh, a fisherman of fishing boat QB-92005 TS captained by Ho Van Hon for emergency treatment. Hung was in a state of shock, with pale mucous membranes and a 10 cm wound on the left side of his neck.
Upon receiving the patient, the center's doctors and nurses performed emergency treatment, cleaned and stitched the wound. After receiving timely emergency treatment, the patient's health and mental state have stabilized and he is continuing to be monitored at the center. If the patient's wound is not promptly treated, it will cause a lot of blood loss, risk of infection, and endanger his life.
It is known that fisherman Ho Van Hung was seriously injured by a piece of steel cutting into his left neck at 3 a.m. the same day while fishing near Con Co Island.
