Binh Dai completed phase I of removing temporary and dilapidated houses early

Youth union members of communes and towns actively contributed working days to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

In the past time, through propaganda and mobilization from socialized resources and support capital sources from above, up to now, communes and towns in the district have focused on building 74/75 houses (there is 1 house in Dinh Trung commune, near-poor households, asking for opinions to repair according to the request of the household owner).

According to Bui Phuc Hau, Head of the Economic , Infrastructure and Urban Department of Binh Dai District, phase 2 has 133 houses in Decision No. 781/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the results of reviewing the need for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 in the province, mainly households that do not meet land conditions. Currently, some households do not have land to build houses or have land but it is not in the planning, land use plan and do not have financial conditions, cannot change the land use purpose. In some other cases, economic conditions are still facing many difficulties, so the funding for house construction is limited. Therefore, the district proposed that the province soon approve the overall adjustment projects of the general urban construction planning and the urban recognition project so that the locality can complete the work according to the general policy.

Secretary of Binh Dai District Youth Union Huynh Tan Phat said that the early completion of construction progress and handover of 75 houses in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services, poor households and near-poor households in the district in phase I is an effort with a high sense of responsibility of the entire political system and the consensus and active support of organizations, units and benefactors inside and outside the district. Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district have also deployed the establishment of youth volunteer teams to contribute working days to support the transportation of materials to reduce costs so that the houses of the beneficiaries are more complete and the construction progress is faster...

Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, residing in Vinh Dien hamlet, Vang Quoi Tay commune, who has just received the house, said excitedly: “Our family feels very happy, the joy is doubled when the Party and the State pay attention to supporting capital to build a new house, and the members of the Youth Union and Association in the commune come to support labor days, transport materials, support roofing... This greatly contributes to making our family's house more neat. Having a new house is a great source of motivation for us to rise up and escape poverty sustainably.”
