In the early morning of April 7, six houses in Van An Ward, Bac Ninh City, were swept away by a landslide into the Cau River. Although the landslide did not cause any human casualties, it caused significant property damage.

In the early morning of April 7, at the location from K49+750 ÷ K49+815 on the right dike of Cau, Van Phuc area, Van An ward, Bac Ninh city, a riverbank subsidence incident occurred, causing landslides in 6 houses of 5 households here.
After receiving information from local residents, local authorities evacuated many households in this area and posted warning signs of dangerous areas to ensure safety.
The houses were almost completely destroyed.

According to the reporter's records, the Cau River section flowing through Van An ward is very narrow and every day there are many boats passing and anchoring.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ly, whose house has collapsed, now has to make a temporary tent to stay with relatives. "At 2am on April 7, my house started to collapse. My wife and I ran out of the house and immediately called the authorities to come and handle the situation. My house is now completely damaged and uninhabitable," Mr. Ly shared.
Warning signs were erected around the landslide area.
Landslides here continue to occur, with many cracks appearing.
People and local authorities and people urgently evacuated from the dangerous area.
Faced with new developments in the incident, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh City is continuing to focus on directing agencies and functional units to find measures to dismantle the eroded structures and reduce the load on the shore.
