DTO - Captain Huynh Thanh Dien (born in 1992) - Border Management Assistant of the Staff Department, Border Guard Command of Dong Thap province is a young officer with many contributions to his work and has been awarded many noble titles by his superiors.

Captain Huynh Thanh Dien was honored as a "Promising Young Face" by the Border Guard Command.

In border management, Captain Huynh Thanh Dien advised the unit's leaders on many practical, effective, and quality tasks and was highly appreciated for his sense of responsibility and dedication in professional work. Notably, he advised on maintaining the effective operation of 12 teams and fixed posts to protect the border on the river; at the same time, he implemented the change of border management and protection from regular to enhanced in 8 border communes to organize strict inspection and control of the border and border gates, preventing illegal entry and infiltration activities to sabotage.

In recent times, Captain Huynh Thanh Dien has actively advised the unit's leaders to coordinate well with the Police and Military in organizing patrols in the area. Thereby, he has arrested 1 wanted person, 4 cases of illegal drug use (13 subjects), 2 cases of property theft (2 subjects), 16 cases of gambling and cockfighting for money (128 subjects)... Thereby, contributing to maintaining political security, order and social safety in the border area.

In addition, as a member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Huynh Thanh Dien participated in organizing the exhibition of national border markers and old markers planted during the period 1986 - 1988 to promote and introduce the history of border demarcation and marker planting in the province.

Captain Huynh Thanh Dien shared: “As an Assistant Border Manager, I clearly identify my duties and responsibilities, so I strive to study and research to continuously improve my professional qualifications and skills, contributing to the successful implementation of the unit's political tasks. I actively cultivate knowledge and learn to effectively apply it to perform professional tasks, and proactively advise the unit's leaders.”

With many achievements in performing his duties, Captain Huynh Thanh Dien was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Youth Union as "Outstanding Young Face of the Land of Red Lotus", the title "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings"; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "Building a strong national defense" and outstanding achievements in the work of demarcating and planting markers on the Vietnam - Cambodia land border on the border of Dong Thap province; the Executive Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period of 2021 - 2024; Party member meeting the standard of "Excellently completing tasks" for 5 consecutive years (2020 - 2024); the Border Guard Command commended "Promising Young Face".
