In preparation for the project implementation, from February 2025 to present, Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province have been focusing on marking and demarcating boundaries to serve the work of compensation, support and resettlement.
According to Dan Viet reporter, in Nhuan Duc commune, Cu Chi district, the group planting stakes and determining boundaries to serve the work of boundary crossing and compensation for site clearance for the project is actively working.
After measuring and determining the boundary, the clearance markers will be fixed 100 meters apart. Because the highway passes through many complex terrains, swamps, dense trees... the marker planting team had to work quite hard.
A representative of the People's Committee of Nhuan Duc Commune, Cu Chi District, said that there are 291 cases in the commune affected by the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway project, of which 10 cases are public land. The locality has conducted a preliminary inventory and coordinated with the investor, the team planted markers to determine the boundary location to implement the project. Up to now, the people have grasped the project information, accompanied and are ready to hand over the site to the investor in the near future.
The entire route has 3,029 milestones, Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province will complete in March 2025 to do the next work.
In Ho Chi Minh City alone, the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway project is 24.7 km long. From February 2025 to March 15, Ho Chi Minh City will install 1,083 markers; from March 15 to March 31, 126 markers will be installed. In parallel with Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh province is also doing similar work. In addition to installing markers, units will also conduct mine clearance in Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province, scheduled for April 25.
