Rehabilitating young people serving criminal sentences in the community

The program to educate and reform young people serving sentences aims to reduce the number of young people who violate and re-offend the law in Huong Khe district (Ha Tinh).

On the morning of October 13, the District Youth Union and the Youth Union of Huong Khe District coordinated with the District Police to organize a program to educate, reform, and help young people reintegrate into the community and young people serving criminal sentences in the community in 2023.

District Police representatives disseminate and propagate laws and provide guidance on legal procedures related to criminal record deletion.

At the program, 39 young people serving criminal sentences and reintegrating into the community in Huong Khe district were given general information about the local political, economic, cultural and social situation. At the same time, they were informed about the law, security and order situation, and guided on legal procedures related to the erasure of criminal records; introduced about vocational training and employment policies and exchanged experiences in building economic development models.

This is a program to effectively carry out the work of educating, reforming, and helping young people reintegrate into the community and are serving criminal sentences in the community. Thereby, demonstrating the accompanying role of the Youth Union and the police in helping and motivating young people to reintegrate into the community and are serving criminal sentences outside the community to strive and practice in studying, working, producing, and doing business.

In order to practically celebrate the traditional day of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15), on this occasion, the District Youth Union and the Youth Union of Huong Khe district organized and implemented many meaningful activities such as: Starting the construction of 2 red scarf houses, organizing the men's football tournament of the expanded affiliated bloc of Huong Khe district, launching an economic model, installing QR Codes at historical sites to propagate and promote cultural values...
