Maintaining the "Full Moon Festival" since 2016, musician Pham Ha hopes to bring many beautiful memories to children.

Born into a poor family in Thanh Phu Long commune, Chau Thanh district, Long An province, Pham Ha's childhood memories are associated with the sweat of his parents when they "sold their faces to the ground, sold their backs to the sky" to raise 3 brothers. It is this real-life material that has woven the inspiration in his compositions. In his career, he has many successful works such as My Countryside's Sunny Season, Homeland Painting or Vegetarian Festival - simple songs, vividly depicting the image of a rich countryside with many ups and downs.

In My Hometown's Sunny Season, the image of Chau Thanh people struggling under the harsh sun with the belief in a brighter tomorrow is expressed by him through simple lyrics: "The sad midday sun makes those who are far from home more worried. Who understands the simple, hard-working people of my hometown for so many years?" With the song Le Hoi Lam Chay, musician Pham Ha also used his phone and flycam to record the rituals of the Ong Tieu procession, the flower caravan, the lantern boat, folk games, and the scene of burning Ong Tieu. The music and images blend into a traditional musical film, helping to preserve the local culture in a vivid and familiar way. In addition, he also won the B prize (no A prize) in the campaign to compose and promote literary and artistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style" in the 8th period with the song Nhung tim cam tu.

Not only writing about his homeland, musician Pham Ha also has many compositions related to charity. From his travels to remote communes and visits to children in difficult circumstances, he wrote moving songs such as "Please Give Me Away" or "My Heart Sings". Of these, "My Heart Sings" was chosen as the theme song for a large charity program at VOH Television Station, performed by Meritorious Artist, Runner-up Trinh Kim Chi. The song is not only music but also a call to spread love: "Listen to my heart sing. Sing about lives full of hardships".

“Besides, I often record myself, shoot videos and share them on my personal YouTube channel after completing a song,” said musician Pham Ha. In each music video, he always pays attention to recreating the everyday beauty of his hometown with realistic and vivid frames. From the rows of dragon fruit stretching out to the simple smiles of the people,... All are meticulously recorded. Thanks to that, each video not only attracts thousands of views but also receives many positive responses from the audience, especially Chau Thanh children far from home.

In addition to his passion for composing, musician Pham Ha also devotes a lot of effort to maintaining charity activities. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he regularly contributed money to buy necessities for the poor and those affected by the pandemic. He also actively participated in charity groups, traveling all over the country to send love. "I remember most the times I went with the charity group to the highlands to give gifts and help children in difficult circumstances. Looking at their innocent, joyful eyes when receiving gifts and necessities, I couldn't hold back my tears" - Mr. Pham Ha emotionally shared.

Since 2016, he has regularly organized the "Full Moon Festival" program for poor children in the commune. From the initial donations of several million VND, up to now, every Mid-Autumn Festival, he and his colleagues have mobilized tens of millions of VND to buy cakes, candies, lanterns, practice and perform arts, circus,... so that the children can have a happy and warm Mid-Autumn Festival.

Music for musician Pham Ha is not only a passion but also a way for him to spread his love for his homeland and share with the community. Using real materials, he has created many valuable compositions that will last forever./.
