According to the list announced by the Hanoi Department of Health, among the 26 driver health examination facilities, public hospitals have connected data on the health insurance assessment portal system, including: Dong Da General Hospital; Xanh Pon General Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital; Bac Thang Long Hospital; Duc Giang Hospital; Ba Vi District Hospital, Gia Lam District Hospital; Hoai Duc District Hospital; Son Tay General Hospital. In the first 3 months of this year, about 6,000 driver health examination certificates have been updated and connected on the system by the facilities.
Connecting driver health examination data to the health insurance assessment portal is a mandatory requirement stated in Official Dispatch 7586/BYT-KCB issued by the Ministry of Health. This regulation applies to cases with a conclusion of "qualified driver health" according to class. Individuals without health examination results data on the system are considered ineligible.
As one of 26 units in Hanoi that have operated the software to connect driver health examination data according to regulations, Duc Giang General Hospital said that the health examination process takes about 1 hour. Connecting data to the health insurance assessment portal for eligible cases helps individuals proactively register to change their driver's license online via computer or smartphone.
Individuals with inter-linked health results can renew their driver's license online following a 5-step process.
