The delegation visited and presented gifts to Giong Rieng Ethnic Boarding School and Secondary School; Go Quao Ethnic Boarding School and Secondary School; Kien Giang Intermediate School (campus 1).

At the places he visited, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Kien Giang province Danh Lam wished teachers, students and families a joyful, warm, happy and safe traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival.

The delegation of Kien Giang province presented gifts to Kien Giang Secondary School (campus 1) on the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival in 2025.

Comrade Danh Lam briefly informed about the socio-economic development situation of the province in 2024 and the first months of 2025. Thanks to the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas, the lives of Khmer people are increasingly improving; the poverty rate of ethnic minority households is decreasing. Through the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, many Khmer households are able to celebrate a warm New Year in solid and spacious houses.
