On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the morning of July 24, the delegation on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Temple of the heroic martyrs of the province (Thien Ton town, Hoa Lu district) and the Monument of the heroic martyrs of the province (Dong Thanh ward, Ninh Binh city).
Attending the incense offering ceremony on behalf of the Party and State delegation were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the National Assembly, Head of the delegation. Also participating in the delegation were leaders of the Social Committee, the Culture and Education Committee of the National Assembly; and leaders of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
On the side of the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, there were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. Also participating were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the National Assembly Delegation of the province; leaders of the advisory agencies assisting the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, heads of the armed forces and branches, and organizations of the province; Secretaries of district, city Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees.
During the wars of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland, Ninh Binh province had 235 thousand cadres and soldiers who were the children of their homeland enthusiastically joining the fight, serving the fight, and defending the Fatherland. More than 17,000 people heroically sacrificed their lives and were recognized as heroic martyrs; more than 1,200 mothers were recognized as heroic Vietnamese mothers; 13,386 wounded soldiers, 8,377 sick soldiers, over 700 people were recognized as veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres, over 8,900 resistance fighters and their children were infected with toxic chemicals...
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan and the delegation offered flowers and incense, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the heroic martyrs, and the outstanding children of Ninh Binh who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. At the same time, they vowed to unite, join hands, and promote the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement, successfully carry out the set political tasks, and join hands to build the homeland and the country to develop more and more.
The delegation also observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh; to commemorate the contributions of heroic martyrs, and to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - a staunch communist and outstanding leader who devoted his whole life to the Party, the country and the people.
