On the evening of June 20, at the Hanoi Opera House, an exchange event took place between former Vietnamese students in Russia, President To Lam and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In addition to the above event, there was also a concert to welcome President Putin on his state visit to Vietnam.

It is known that the program has the participation of talented artists such as Honorary Professor KazNUA, People's Artist Bui Cong Duy - who studied in Russia for 15 years and is one of the typical artists who has achieved many successes in Russia, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Hoa Dang (T'rung), Meritorious Artist Bui Le Chi, soprano singer Dao To Loan, young tenor singer Nguyen Truong Linh.

Talented conductor Tran Nhat Minh (who studied in Russia for nearly 10 years and is one of the most talented conductors of the 8x generation) and the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra (under the Vietnam National Academy of Music) also participated in the program.

The program was edited by People's Artist Bui Cong Duy - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Mr. Tran Hai Dang - Deputy Director of the Institute of Music.

The concert moved many generations of audiences, former students studying abroad in Russia and the Russian delegation with classic works by Tchaikovksy, Shostakovich, Glinka, Vavilov, Pakhmutova, Nguyen Dinh Thy, Hoang Dam...

The audience enjoyed the performances of lecturers, Meritorious Artists, and students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music through classic works by great Russian musicians and Vietnamese composers. The enthusiasm of the artists in the orchestra created a festive atmosphere throughout the program.

With the convincing and classy performance of People's Artist Bui Cong Duy, the endless energy and dedication of Dao To Loan, the emotional sound of the monochord of Meritorious Artist Bui Le Chi and the wonderful sounds of the T'rung... the program left memorable impressions on the audience.
