BSR officially listed on HoSE, capitalization over 66,970 billion VND

More than 3.1 billion BSR shares were officially listed on HoSE with a total listed value (at par value) of more than VND31,000 billion. The reference price on the first trading day of BSR was VND21,300/share, with a price fluctuation range of ±20%.

Right in the morning session, BSR was positive in green, at times increasing by nearly 7%. At the end of the session, BSR closed at 21,600 VND/share, capitalization 66,970 billion VND.

Based on capitalization and conditions for VN30, BSR has a chance to be included in the basket when the time for listing is sufficient. This is one of the attractive points of BSR shares that investors are interested in.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang, General Director of BSR said that this is an important event for the Company in the process of registering for stock listing and transferring the Company's floor, marking a step of maturity in the process of building a sustainable development Company.

BSR officially listed on HoSE in early 2025, helping VN-Index and VN30 have one more potential leading enterprise in the energy sector. This event is assessed and expected to be a boost for the promotion momentum of the Vietnamese stock market, contributing to the development of the energy industry, and the wave of changing the listing floor of qualified stocks.

Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR, believes that listing on HoSE will help BSR access many important investment capital sources and have an effective capital mobilization channel - which is especially important in the context of the enterprise's plans to expand investment, especially the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Upgrade and Expansion Project.

Regarding the expansion project, it is expected to be operational in 2028. According to the schedule, site clearance and supporting activities will be completed in 2024. In May 2025, the overall engineering design (FEED) and copyright contracts will be completed. In December 2025, the EPC contract will be signed, then construction will be implemented and put into operation in 2028.

The total investment of the project is nearly 36,431 billion VND, with the equity/loan capital structure being 60/40. In which, the equity capital is arranged through the plan to increase BSR's charter capital to 50,000 billion VND (an increase of 19,000 billion VND) from the Development Investment Fund, and BSR's existing undistributed profit after tax. The plan has been approved by PVN and is being submitted to the competent authority for approval to be implemented in 2025 and will be submitted to the 2025 Shareholders' Meeting for approval.

The loan capital of about 526 million USD will be borrowed from ECA loans and domestic and foreign commercial loans.

BSR has signed a contract with HSBC as the ECA loan coordinator and PVcomBank as the capital arrangement consultant for the Project.

According to financial reports, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical's net revenue in 2022 - 2023 will reach more than VND 167,000 billion and VND 147,000 billion, respectively, with after-tax profit reaching more than VND 14,669 billion and VND 8,593 billion. By the end of the third quarter of 2024, BSR's revenue will reach more than VND 87,059 billion, with after-tax profit reaching more than VND 674 billion.

Sharing with investors, BSR said that in 2024, revenue is estimated at 120,000 billion VND, pre-tax profit is estimated at 369 billion VND.
