DNO - Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that to meet the increased travel demand during the 2024 Lunar New Year, the railway industry will add 3,000 train tickets from Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa stations to stations from Quang Ngai to Hanoi and vice versa.

On December 26, Mr. Thai Van Truyen, General Director of Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, said that the first time, 3,000 more seats (train tickets) will be added from Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa stations to stations from Quang Ngai to Hanoi and vice versa during the peak days of Tet Giap Thin 2024; from January 31 to February 19, 2024 (from December 21 to January 10).
Accordingly, from 2:00 p.m. this afternoon (December 26), the railway industry will open sales at all railway ticket sales channels such as websites, e-wallet applications, train ticket sales apps on mobile devices or contact stations, ticket sales points and ticket sales agents of Vietnam Railways or call the ticket sales hotline.
It is known that this addition is to meet the increasing demand of people returning to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.
According to Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, after 2 months of opening for sale, the entire system has sold over 130,000 tickets.
There are still tickets left before Tet on all routes, including: from February 1, 2024 and before and February 8, 9, 2024 (December 22 and before and December 29, 30), there are still tickets to all stations, the days from February 2 to February 7, 2024 (December 23 to 28) are still few.
According to Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, after Tet there are still many tickets for all days. Passengers who need to buy tickets should contact the stations, through ticket sales websites, on e-wallet applications, train ticket sales apps and through the ticket sales hotline.
