In May 2023, Binh Thuan tourism continued to make its mark when welcoming more than 800,000 visitors (estimated statistics reached 805,300), up 9.18% over the previous month and up 66.45% over the same period last year. The number of international visitors in the month alone is estimated at 21,700, up 4.35% over the previous month and up 4.4 times over the same period, mainly from Korea, Germany, UK, USA, China, etc.

This result was achieved thanks to many favorable factors: During the month, there was a long holiday, Phu Quy island tourism attracted many visitors, the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway opened to traffic, significantly shortening travel time for tourists... Besides, there were also a number of cultural and sports activities taking place in Phan Thiet City such as the kite flying festival, the Miss & Mister Fitness Super Model World 2023 contest.
