Provincial leaders visit and congratulate religious establishments on Easter 2025

At the Phan Thiet Diocese Bishop's Palace, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Hong Sy sent his congratulations to Bishop Giuse Do Manh Hung - General Secretary of the Vietnam Bishops' Council, Bishop of Phan Thiet Diocese, along with priests, religious and parishioners throughout the province to celebrate a peaceful and happy Easter.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee quickly informed about the socio -economic situation in the first quarter of 2025 with outstanding results. In particular, the growth rate of the total product in the province (GRDP) reached 8.1%. The tourism sector continued to develop, welcoming 2.6 million visitors (an increase over the same period), revenue reached 7,050 billion VND. Export turnover reached 275 million USD. Total budget revenue was more than 3,120 billion VND. Social security and welfare policies, care for policy beneficiaries and the poor were well implemented. At the same time, more information was provided about the policy of arranging the organization of the apparatus, administrative units and building a 2-level local government organization model. The province is also focusing on implementing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Binh Thuan Province Liberation Day and the Rally on the evening of April 19.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the important achievements have been made thanks to the contribution of the Catholic community; at the same time, he hoped that the Phan Thiet Diocese would continue to uphold its role and responsibility for the common development of the country.

Also at the visit, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Vo Thanh Binh informed about some aspects of the province's socio-economic development, especially the implementation of the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of departments, branches, units and localities. Along with that, the province is focusing its efforts and determination to strive to complete the construction of new and repaired houses for people with revolutionary contributions before April 30, 2025. Complete the construction of new and repaired temporary houses, dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and other disadvantaged households that meet legal conditions for residential land from February 2025 to before June 30, 2025.

Comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department hopes that Protestants in the province will continue to promote the spirit of religious solidarity, carry out patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the locality, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.

At the same time, they thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and active support for local religious establishments, especially in religious activities.
