Binh Phuoc works with the delegation of Nuriflex Korea Company in Vietnam

BPO - On the morning of December 12, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Vu Ngoc Long received and worked with the delegation of Nuriflex Korea Company in Vietnam led by Mr. Phan Phong Phu, Deputy General Director of Nuriflex, member of the Korean Energy Association in Vietnam, on rooftop solar power projects and maintenance of rooftop solar power systems. Also receiving the delegation were representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches of the province.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Vu Ngoc Long quickly informed the delegation about the province's potential in developing clean and sustainable energy and renewable energy. According to the plan to implement the VIII power plan, Binh Phuoc province is allocated 93MW of rooftop solar power. For the form of self-produced, self-consumed, off-grid solar energy and using storage batteries, unlimited investment is encouraged. Regarding the implementation of Decree No. 135/2024/ND-CP dated October 22, 2024 of the Government, the whole province currently has nearly 30 enterprises sending official dispatches to register for implementation.

The province's viewpoint is to support and continue to recommend to the Prime Minister, relevant ministries and branches to continue to add renewable energy projects to the province to serve production because the province's potential for renewable energy development is very large, especially with solar power projects. The province has many advantages due to high sunshine hours (average sunshine hours from 2,400-2,500 hours/year), stable heat radiation (average about 5.14 kWh/m2/day), little rain; the existing power transmission network ensures to meet the capacity release of the projects. Binh Phuoc province and the industry and trade sector have prepared the legal and procedural aspects to welcome investors in this field.

On the side of the delegation of Nuriflex Korea Company in Vietnam, the delegation highly appreciated the potential for renewable energy development in Binh Phuoc province; at the same time, they hoped to have the opportunity to cooperate and invest, and accompany the province in the field of renewable energy development, including rooftop solar power systems, especially in industrial parks.

The two sides exchanged many contents related to the field of renewable energy and rooftop solar power.

At the meeting, the two sides also discussed many contents about industrial parks in the province, the advantages and potentials of the province related to renewable energy - a field with great potential and in line with the current global development trend.
