Commending exemplary youth union members and cadres in the national movement to protect national security for the period 2018-2023

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building a Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security of the Province, gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation of Ninh Binh province in recent times.

It emphasizes the tourism development potential of Ninh Binh with many historical, cultural relics, famous landscapes and valuable natural ecological environments, such as: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Phat Diem Stone Church, Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Cuc Phuong National Park, Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, Thung Nham Bird Garden, especially Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Since 2022, Ninh Binh province has been able to balance its budget and has regulated the central budget...

At the same time, acknowledge and commend the contributions of union members and youth in participating in crime prevention and building movements to protect national security in recent times.

He emphasized: the conference to commend outstanding models, cadres, union members and youth in the movement of the whole people to protect national security, period 2018 - 2023, was held in Ninh Binh province, demonstrating the special attention of the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the central ministries, departments and branches for Ninh Binh province.

This is an opportunity for Ninh Binh province to exchange and learn experiences in general work fields and in building the movement to protect national security in particular; contributing to and further developing the close and strong relationship between units and localities.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, said: The movement of the entire people to protect national security is a major policy of the Party and State, contributing to effectively mobilizing the resources of the entire people to maintain political security and social order and safety.

After 5 years of implementing the Program of joint action in crime prevention and the movement to protect national security between the Central Youth Union and the Ministry of Public Security, with the attention and direction of Party committees at all levels, authorities, and the coordination of departments, branches and organizations, in which the police force and the Youth Union are the core.

Coordination activities from the central level to the grassroots level of communes, wards and towns in participating in ensuring security and order and building a mass movement to protect national security and order have been carried out systematically, closely and regularly. In particular, plans have been proactively developed and advised Party committees and authorities to deploy coordinated activities to prevent crimes among local youth, bringing about important results.

Especially the work of coordinating propaganda, raising awareness and responsibility of union members and youth in building the movement of All people protecting national security and order; fighting to protect the Party's ideological foundation, refuting wrong and hostile views; preventing drugs among teenagers; educating and reforming prisoners and inmates of youth age and helping them reintegrate into the community; educating and reforming backward and law-breaking teenagers, maintaining traffic order and safety; participating in the implementation of Project 06 dated January 6, 2022 of the Prime Minister on "Developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" with many creative and effective forms and measures...

The youth's proactive activities in ensuring security and order have actively contributed to the task of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and serving the country's socio-economic development.

At the conference, outstanding youth union members participated in exchanges and shared good practices in propaganda and mobilizing people to participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security and experiences in building typical models in the movement of All People Protecting National Security.

Recognizing the outstanding achievements of cadres, union members, and youth at all levels in the movement of the whole people to protect national security in the period of 2018 - 2023. At the conference, the Ministry of Public Security honored and awarded 31 collectives and 31 individuals; of which Ninh Binh had 1 collective and 1 individual awarded.

To promptly meet the requirements in the new period, at the conference, Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security requested that in the coming time, the Public Security force coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at all levels to strengthen close coordination in organizing, disseminating, and effectively implementing the Party and State's directives on ensuring public order and security in general and the work of building the movement of All People Protecting National Security in particular.

Continue to coordinate with the Party and State in advising on policies and solutions for building a mass movement to protect national security, in order to promote the combined strength of all levels, sectors, the entire political system and all classes of people in the cause of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety; building a solid people's security posture and foundation.

Proactively innovate the content and form of education and propaganda work to raise awareness and responsibility of union members and youth in ensuring national defense and security, taking the initiative in protecting the Fatherland and building a mass movement to protect national security.

Continue to promote the vanguard role of young people in the fight against and refuting hostile and erroneous views against the Party, State and socialist regime, especially in cyberspace.

Further promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, build and implement ethical standards well; orient personality values, make young people truly imbued with and capable of self-resistance and actively fight against the sabotage plots of hostile forces.

The Youth Union at all levels proactively coordinates closely with the police force in participating in launching the movement for the whole people to protect national security and order, and in preventing and combating crimes and social evils. At the same time, mobilize union members and young people to actively coordinate with the police force and mobilize people in national digital transformation.

Improve the quality of Youth Union activities; continue to coordinate to maintain and replicate advanced models and examples in the mass movement to protect national security and order, promptly commend and reward positive and outstanding factors to encourage and motivate.
