Sea of people come to Cua Lo to watch drone show

From the afternoon of April 18, motorbikes and cars from neighboring localities of Cua Lo town, Nghe An and tourists lined up to pour into Cua Lo beach.

Because the opening day of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival in 2024 coincides with the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday, the number of visitors to Cua Lo beach has increased dramatically.

Coming to Cua Lo this year, visitors witnessed many positive changes, bringing a new, more modern look and more beautiful scenery. Especially when the local government cleared more than 200 shops blocking the way to the sea in the Binh Minh street area.

Not only renovating and expanding many roads, Cua Lo town also creates more landscapes and sea daisy gardens near the sea for tourists to check-in.

Many luxury hotels in Cua Lo are almost fully booked, with each room costing an average of 1.5 to 5 million VND per day and night.

To become an attractive destination for tourists, Cua Lo leaders have actively taken action, requiring wards and communes to thoroughly overcome existing problems, especially focusing on eliminating "overcharging" and soliciting customers.

Before the tourist season, kiosks serving drinks and food services are required to have price lists and publicize hotline numbers of ward leaders, ward police and town police.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee - emphasized: "After 117 years of forming a tourist destination and 30 years of development, Cua Lo town is gradually transforming itself, taking on the appearance of a bustling coastal tourist city, an ideal and attractive resort experience address".

The infrastructure system, hotels, and motels can accommodate more than 30,000 guests per day/night. The 2024 Cua Lo Tourism Festival is an opportunity for Nghe An province to introduce and promote its unique values, resources, and tourism products to domestic and foreign friends and visitors.

In addition to the art program "Cua Lo - Aspiration to Shine" and the special fireworks display, the organizers also brought an artistic light show using hundreds of drones to create artistic shapes in the air.

On this occasion, Cua Lo town also received a certificate of recognition as a national intangible cultural heritage for Yen Luong Temple Festival - a folk festival associated with the worship of the Four Holy Mothers and the gods of fortune of coastal residents, which has been passed down for hundreds of years.
