Bat Xat: Responding to the Peak Day of Volunteer Soldiers

On June 1, in Coc My commune, Bat Xat District Youth Union coordinated with a number of agencies and units to organize the Peak Day of Volunteers to support children in difficult circumstances in 2024.

Practice extinguishing newly arising fires.

Students were able to answer questions related to basic knowledge of fire escape skills and drowning prevention skills for children; practice fire fighting skills for newly arising fires, etc.

Also on June 1, Bat Xat District Youth Union coordinated with the group "Ngot and friends" from Hanoi and philanthropists in Lao Cai city to organize the program "Warm sunshine in the highlands" on the occasion of Children's Day (June 1).

Giving TVs and many gifts to schools.

At the program, the volunteer group donated televisions to 2 schools in Coc My commune; presented many gifts including candy, milk, and children's toys; donated sports equipment to schools; and presented 31 gifts to students in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND. The total value of the volunteer program was more than 100 million VND.
