Emergency arrest of wanted suspect of special danger

On November 25, news from the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Lieu Province Police said that they had just coordinated with Bac Lieu City Police and Trang Bom District Police (Dong Nai) to urgently arrest suspect Truong Linh (26 years old, residing in Ap Bien Dong B, Vinh Trach Dong Commune, Bac Lieu City) who was wanted for especially dangerous sexual intercourse with a person from 13 to under 16 years old.

Truong Linh was arrested urgently for fleeing a wanted warrant, especially dangerous.

According to the case file, at the end of 2019, Linh met and fell in love with LTV (14 years old, living in the same locality). They lived together as husband and wife and had a child together.

On January 30, 2023, Linh was prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Lieu City Police for having sexual intercourse with a person aged from 13 to under 16 years old. At the same time, preventive measures were applied to prohibit leaving the place of residence.

During the investigation, Linh fled the locality and was issued a special wanted notice by the Bac Lieu City Police Department for the above-mentioned act.

Recently, from a report from a local resident who discovered Linh hiding in an apartment in Lo Duc Hamlet (Ho Nai 3 Commune, Trang Bom District), the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Lieu Province Police coordinated with Trang Bom District Police to urgently arrest Linh.

Linh was transferred to the Bac Lieu City Police Department for further investigation and clarification of his acts of evading arrest warrant and having sexual intercourse with a person aged 13 to under 16.
