After confirming his departure from Pau FC, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has officially joined the Hanoi Police Club (CAHN).
Quang Hai leaves Pau FC after 1 year of association
Many Thai newspapers have commented on this news.
“Quang Hai has returned home. He will play for a new team from phase 2 of V-League 2023.
He signed a 1.5-year contract with Hanoi Police. The decision was made right after he left Pau FC after a bad season,” wrote Thailand’s Goal.
Before confirming his joining CAHN, many sources said that Quang Hai was being interested by several teams in the Thai League (Thai National Championship).
However, due to issues regarding transfer fees, salaries, and signing bonuses, the deal could not be completed.
“After ending his contract with Hanoi FC, Quang Hai went to play for Pau FC. But at the Ligue 2 team, the Vietnamese star did not have many opportunities to play.
In France, Quang Hai played a total of 12 matches in the professional league, scoring only one goal before being demoted to play in the 5th division for the Pau B team.
Although he still has 1 year left on his contract, due to professional problems, Quang Hai decided to leave this team.
Quang Hai returned to Vietnam to play for Hanoi Police and promised to help the team become stronger," the newspaper continued.
Meanwhile, Thai Rath newspaper said that Quang Hai no longer has enough patience to continue being a reserve at Pau FC and decided to part ways with the French team.
“Perhaps having to sit out for so long has reached the limit of Quang Hai’s patience. The Vietnamese football star cannot wait any longer,” said Thai Rath.
According to plan, the midfielder from Dong Anh will officially play for CAHN from phase 2 of V-League 2023.
