Every summer, Quang Ninh Museum always attracts a large number of tourists, especially young visitors, contributing to increasing the attractiveness of tourism in the province.

Quang Ninh Museum not only attracts older visitors but is also an attractive destination for many students of all levels in and outside the province. Experiential programs such as: Singing and dancing, wooden boat making, snail painting, ceramic vase painting, traditional craft theme experience in the form of Q&A, ceramic painting, tree planting at the Museum have diverse, meaningful content, attractive to children.

Quang Ninh Museum also organizes the experience program "My Summer" for children aged 5-12, with 30 to 60 children per program, providing a lot of knowledge about life, history, culture, natural society, while creating conditions for children to develop communication skills, skills to present thoughts and ideas, cooperation skills, and teamwork.

Educating about historical and cultural traditions, including local traditions, is one of the important contents of propaganda work at Quang Ninh Museum. This is an opportunity for children to learn about the history, revolutionary traditions as well as the cultural and aesthetic values ​​of Quang Ninh through the system of typical documents and artifacts on display at the Museum. From there, it contributes to arousing national pride and self-esteem so that each child can see their role and responsibility in the cause of building and developing their homeland and will be an ambassador contributing to promoting the image of the land and people of Quang Ninh to tourists.

In 2023, the Museum coordinated to organize 20 live "History Lessons" for students, attracting more than 1,300 students in the province to participate, and 30 online "History Lessons" for students in three regions of Vietnam. At the same time, the Museum organized activities in response to the Lifelong Learning Week 2023 with the theme "Applying and promoting the effectiveness of digital technology in local history education activities through Cultural Heritage" at Quang Ninh Museum for more than 200 students and teachers of Le Hong Phong Primary School and the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities to participate. In 2024, Quang Ninh Museum coordinated with the Faculty of Culture, Ha Long University to organize the Final Round of the Contest to Learn about the History, Culture, and People of Quang Ninh through Museum Artifacts in 2024 for students.

Not only attracting students to visit and learn about the museum's exhibition spaces, the unit also proactively organizes experiential programs during the summer. To do this better, based on the exhibition content, the tour guide will flexibly compile it, suitable for each visitor. The programs with lively spaces, joyful experiential activities, and traditional cultural colors have created a good impression on the participating youth and children, bringing positive changes in awareness for students, contributing to comprehensive education.

The experiential activities of Quang Ninh Museum are always innovated, creative, diverse, increasing interaction with visitors, contributing to the implementation of heritage education content, increasing tourist attraction. According to statistics from Quang Ninh Museum, the number of visitors in the summer of 2024 increased. Of which, the number of visitors in April was 64,024, in May it reached 70,839, and in June it reached more than 100,000.

Mr. Do Quyet Tien, Director of Quang Ninh Museum, said: In the coming time, the Museum will innovate the content, form of display and introduction of cultural heritage, diversify experiential education programs associated with promoting innovation in propaganda methods and further improving the quality of educational programs for students; focus more on the close connection between schools and the Museum, thereby creating attraction and competitive advantage compared to other museums across the country.
