Sharing at the medical examination session, Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper, Head of the program's organizing committee, said: The program "Lighting up the sea with fishermen" organized by the newspaper aims to support fishermen in 28 coastal provinces and cities.

“On May 31 and June 1, the program presented 20 gifts, each worth VND5 million, to fishermen and 200 gifts to children in the commune on International Children's Day June 1, each worth VND1 million. With the free medical examination and medicine on June 2, the program will bring fishermen in Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province the opportunity to receive better health care,” said Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper coordinated with the medical team of Codupha Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to organize medical examinations and provide free medicine to 500 people in difficult circumstances in the area.
According to the records, very early, people were present at the medical examination point to be examined. Most of the people coming for examination were elderly people. Before the doctor examined them, people were instructed to check indicators such as weight and blood pressure. After that, people were guided to the location for examination by the doctor by members of the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper and medical students.
